5. Performance Expectations

Professional ECU tuning may improve:

  • Horsepower

  • Throttle Response

  • Acceleration

  • Overall Engine Performance

Actual performance improvements vary depending on:

  • Engine condition

  • Maintenance history

  • Propeller selection

  • Fuel quality

  • Boat weight

  • Operating conditions

Because every boat and engine combination is different, specific horsepower, speed, or fuel economy gains cannot be guaranteed.

6. Engine Requirements

Your engine should be mechanically sound before ECU tuning.

ECU flashing does not repair mechanical problems.

We recommend resolving issues such as:

  • Low Compression

  • Overheating

  • Ignition Problems

  • Fuel System Issues

  • Internal Engine Damage

  • Active Diagnostic Faults

before tuning is performed.

7. Fuel & Maintenance

Customers are responsible for:

  • Following manufacturer maintenance schedules

  • Using the recommended fuel and oil

  • Operating the vessel safely

  • Following all applicable boating and emissions regulations

Some ECU calibrations require premium fuel. Fuel recommendations will be provided for your specific engine.

8. Warranty Information

ECU tuning modifies the factory calibration inside your engine's Electronic Control Unit.

Because manufacturer warranty policies vary, ECU tuning may affect your factory warranty.

If you have questions about warranty implications, we're happy to discuss them before your appointment.

9. Mobile & Mail-In Service

We offer multiple programming options depending on your engine.

Mobile Service & In-Shop Programming
